Opus 4.6 Fast Mode available on AI Gateway

Claude Opus 4.6 Fast Mode is now available on AI Gateway, delivering 2.5x faster output tokens for the same model as an experimental premium feature. It enables faster human-in-the-loop workflows and large coding tasks, with pricing at 6x standard Opus rates. Enable it by setting speed: 'fast' in the AI SDK provider options and configuring CLAUDE_CODE_SKIP_FAST_MODE_ORG_CHECK in ~/.claude/settings.json (and try Claude Code via the AI Gateway playground).
